Direct Admission to Our Health Center

For a limited time, residents of the wider community who need personal care, restorative and rehabilitative services, skilled nursing or hospice care may apply for direct admission to the Adirondack or Clearwater at Kendal on Hudson. Kendal offers professional services and fresh, attractive accommodations.

The Adirondack offers these personal care services:

• Private accommodations with full private bathrooms;
• 24-hour nursing care provided by licensed nurses;
• All meals, including special diets;
• Medication assistance and management;
• Social and recreational services;
• Use of the community center amenities including swimming pool, library, dining rooms, hair salon, programs in the auditorium, etc.;
• Assistance with activities of daily living;
• Scheduled transportation for shopping, events, and appointments;
• Wellness program, periodic health screenings, and exercise classes that focus on the well-being of each resident;
• Case management services.

The Clearwater offers these skilled nursing services:

• Private accommodations with private bathrooms;
• 24-hour nursing care provided by Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants;
• All meals and snacks, including special diets;
• Dietary consultation;
• Social work services;
• Social and recreational services;
• Personal laundry;
• Use of the community center amenities including swimming pool, library, dining rooms, hair salon, programs in the auditorium, etc.;
• Case management services;
• Interdisciplinary care plan team for Resident Care Plan development and management;
• Hospice care.

The Clearwater also offers restorative and rehabilitative services:

• integrated physical, occupational, and speech therapy, designed to help residents attain their highest level of physical well being;
• provided by fully trained and licensed therapists;
• available six days a week in our state-of-the-art facility.
